If you've ever wanted to take on an evil organization using your kanji prowess, then Kanji no Wataridori is the game for you! You take on the role of Kanji Guy, a young adventurer who finds himself on a quest to rescue Sakura, a damsel in distress. You won't be rescuing her through any ordinary means, though. You'll have to use your knowledge of kanji to save the day!

The basic premise of the game is that enemies approach you holding small signs with kanji written on them. You have to act fast, using the stylus to write out the correct reading of the kanji. Entering a correct response will vanquish an enemy, while answering a question wrong, or running out of time, will cause you to take damage. If your life bar hits zero, it's game over. Pretty simple, right?
